Itinerary:
- Pick-up at Accommodation:
We will take care of your transfer from your accommodation in the areas of Miraflores, San Isidro, and Barranco to the place where you will enjoy a delightful traditional Peruvian breakfast.
Pick-up time from accommodation: between 08:30 and 09:00 AM.
- Traditional Peruvian Breakfast:
Enjoy a delicious and authentic breakfast at one of Miraflores’ most popular venues. You will have the opportunity to taste a variety of typical sandwiches, natural juices, and the coffee of the day, immersing yourself in Peru’s culture and flavors.
The cost of the breakfast is the responsibility of the tourist, with an approximate cost of $15.
You will have 45 minutes to 1 hour to enjoy breakfast and the charming ambiance.
- Live Cooking Experience:
After breakfast, we will go to a unique culinary experience where you will learn to cook and taste typical Peruvian dishes guided by a professional chef. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the preparation and tasting of the traditional pisco sour.
Itinerary:
- Departure time: 10:30 AM from the breakfast place.
- Arrival at the restaurant: 11:00 AM.
- Event duration: approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes (from 11:00 AM to 2:15 PM).
During the experience, participants will have the opportunity to prepare four delicious dishes, all of which will make a delightful lunch. Each dish will be tasted immediately after its preparation.
At the time of booking you must select a menu option as a preference and the option that obtains the most votes will be chosen to makes that day. It’s important to note that the class will prepare a single menu for all participants; different menus cannot be combined simultaneously. Below are our 2 menu options to choose from:
Option 1:
- Causa de pollo (Yellow potatoes, mayonnaise, avocado and chicken)
- Ceviche de pescado (Fish Ceviche)
- Lomo saltado (Marinated strips of sirloin with onions, tomatoes, fries and rice)
- Picarones (Sweet Potato Fritters)
- Vegetarian Option:
- Causa vegetariana
- Ceviche de mango (Mango Ceviche)
- Vegetales salteados (Sauteed Vegetables)
- Picarones (Sweet Potato Fritters)
Option 2:
- Papa a la Huancaína (Boiled potatoes in a spicy creamy sauce)
- Ceviche de pescado (Fish Ceviche)
- Ají de gallina (Spicy Creamed Chicken)
- Pastel de choclo dulce (Sweet Corn Cake)
- Vegetarian Option:
- Papa a la Huancaína (Boiled potatoes in a spicy creamy sauce)
- Ceviche de mango (Mango Ceviche)
- Ají de habas (Lima Bean)
- Pastel de choclo dulce (Sweet Corn Cake)
Furthermore, the following is included for each participant:
- Welcome Pisco Sour along with its preparation.
- Homemade Passion Fruit Juice to accompany lunch.
- Complimentary water.
- Visit to Huaca Pucllana:
After the culinary experience, we will go to one of Lima’s fascinating archaeological sites, located in the district of Miraflores. Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological site belonging to the Lima culture, will amaze you with its adobe architecture filled with stones and sand. Admire the imposing 25-meter-high pyramid and explore the courtyards and enclosures that surround it. Additionally, enjoy an exhibition hall and a guided tour that will reveal more about its history.
Departure Location: Chef’s Experience / Live Cooking.
Departure Time: 2:30 PM.
Arrival Time: 2:45 PM.
Tour Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Return to Accommodation for Rest:
After immersing in Peruvian culture, we will return to your accommodation so you can enjoy a well-deserved rest before concluding the day in a relaxed way.
Departure Location: Huaca Pucllana.
Departure Time: 4:15 PM.
Arrival Location: Accommodations in Miraflores, San Isidro or Barranco.
Arrival Time at Accommodation: 4:45 PM.
- Dinner and Traditional Peruvian Cultural Show, and Return to Accommodation:
Experience an unforgettable night with folklore, dances and music from Peruvian culture, along with savoring typical dishes and the traditional pisco sour.
The experience includes:
- VIP entry to the show.
- 1 pisco sour per person.
- Dinner with a choice of dishes:
- Lomo Saltado (Marinated strips of sirloin with onions, tomatoes, fries and rice)
- Ají de Gallina (Spicy Creamed Chicken)
- Pollo Parrillero (Grill chicken with fries and salads)
We will take care of your transfer from your accommodation located in the areas of Miraflores, San Isidro and Barranco to the place of dinner and show: between 7:00 and 7:30 PM.
Return transfer from the dinner and show to accommodation: if it’s Thursday at 11:45 PM; if it’s Friday or Saturday at 1:15 AM.
*The tourist will be directly responsible for any additional consumption outside of what is offered in the tour.
